Synopsis: Chief, is a personal narrative loosely based on the gruesome murder of the film-maker's father. In the film, the lead character Keir, the portrayal of the murder, is sent to prison for an unrelated crime. Although Keir serves time for robbery, he is tortured with guild over avoiding judgment and sentencing for the surreptitious murder. This paralyzing guilt that Keir wrestles with makes a murder human.
