Synopsis: On Dia de los Muertos, a young boy named Tomás visits his grandmother's grave. But this enchanted day of celebration brings his grandmother back from the afterlife where she attempts to share a dance with her grandson. Though at first Tomás is unable to see past his grandmother’s skeletal guise, he comes to realize the holiday is a way of reuniting loved ones. Understanding that this may be his last chance to spend time with his grandmother, Tomás takes her hand and joins her in a dance before she returns to the land of the dead. The story details the importance of cherishing time together with family, celebrating life, and not dwelling on death.
