COMPETITION

UMFF is a competitive film festival. Films and scripts accepted for UMFF are eligible for competition. A jury comprised of filmmakers, writers and industry representatives will deliberate and announce the results at UMFF Awards Night on Saturday night, October 2010.

UMFF is IMDb qualifying, granting all eligible competition films a no-hassle title page on IMDb.com. There are a total of twelve (12) awards presented including: Best Animation, Best Short Film, Best Short Documentary, Best Feature, Best Feature Documentary, Best Music Video, Best Script, Best Television/Web Series, Audience Award, and Best Student Film.

Over $20,000 in filmmaking and writing services, products and consulting.

Accepted films will be notified on or before by September 1, 2010.
